OneSchool Global, Hunsbury

The Brief

We have previously worked with the OneSchool at their Atherstone site.

Following successful work at another OneSchool site, Midlands was approached to work on their newest site at Hunsbury in Northampton. They required a design and some input on operational elements as well as supply & installation.

What we did

We provided the client with a fully equipped new kitchen, storage area & servery section.

We sourced and supplied a range of equipment including the following:

  • Storage solutions
  • Refrigeration
  • Warewashing equipment
  • Stainless steel fabrication
  • Cooking equipment
  • Ventilation system
  • Servery counters

The Results

We were initially appointed on a design-only basis with the client accepting our Design Fee Proposal.

This enabled the client to receive a fully detailed drawing package to give to on-site contractors to enable the M&E works. Once completed we then provided them with costs for the supply & installation and were successful in providing this also.

We worked alongside the M&E team on a challenging ventilation system design & supply, which had some changes throughout the process. We were able to ensure the kitchen was all delivered on time utilising our warehouse space to consolidate and check all equipment, this included some that was damaged when it arrived with us and had to be returned and ordered again, something that would have been missed if it was delivered directly to the site!
