Le Manoir’s existing canteen was very dated and run down, we were asked to come up with a design concept that would be warm and welcoming to the staff. It had to be multi-functional as some of the staff bring their own food in, with an option to have hot and cold food offerings every day.
The management wanted a cold and hot drinks area, so the staff could stay hydrated with cold or sparkling water on tap. A bean-to-cup coffee machine was a must to give the staff options on what coffee they wanted and ease of use. The counter needed to be hard-wearing and have a smooth finish.
Midlands was asked to be involved with the building works on the project, to provide wall cladding, non-slip flooring, electrics, and a canopy over the dishwasher.
