The Brief

Due to an updated menu, Putteridge High School canteen couldn’t cope with the demand

Our client asked us to provide a catering pod in their external playground area to help ease the strain on the queue in the main cafeteria. This issue is due to a shift in the menu style, with demand a lot higher for a quicker grab-and-go offer as well as a reduced desire to be inside for most of the year.

What we did

We sourced and supplied a range of commercial kitchen equipment to suit the updated menu

We provided the client with a fully equipped new pod, including the following equipment:

  • Heated display with hot cupboard
  • Refrigerated multi-deck display
  • Hand wash basin
  • Workbench
  • Undercounter refrigeration

We provided a fully equipped pod suitable for the school’s external area, allowing a grab-and-go service of both hot and cold food alongside drinks and other ambient items. We also factored in the relevant services for the school’s EPOS system.
